That all important first post

So, one finds oneself posting a blog. Something that now appears to be de rigeur for those fashionistas amongst us! Not planning to inform aquaintances/friends/partner about this blog, so will see how it develops. The intention is to use it as a cathartic release on those occasions that such is necessary (normally when I have been trawling the internet for the latest conspiracy theories) Ah perhaps should just put a bit about oneself in this first post, to whit; am a bit of an anti conspiracy theory nut.

Have no problem with those who enjoy them and make money from them (Icke and co.) but if the amount of brainpower wasted on this tosh was turned to serious research, the world would be a happier place one feels. Have a personal theory on all this malarky, but will espouse further in additional posts, generally after imbibing waste quantities of druid fluid (ah, perhaps should add that there is a pagan aspect to my belief system, although a rather odd eclectic one.... more on that later as well possibly)

Ok, so who's this that you are wasting your time reading? For those who need to know such things, my name is Matt (I prefer the diminutive....we don't get to choose our names, Stiff is an acceptable alternative, but you'll have to get to know me to find out why LOL!) I'm a pretty easygoing kind of chap most of the time but I have a few "issues" that will no doubt come out. I'm happily married and we have a large dog and several chickens (the dog is probably german shepherd x Akita but we can't be sure - rescue case, very sad, and now very soppy!) I'm pagan by default, but probably not by inclination, tend to follow my own path, again more on that later possibly, and I'm pretty happy with my lot, which seems strange given recent events, but there you go.

I'm very heavily into music, started out as a headbanger, went through a punk phase, then goth, then hardcore rave, then back to a sort of indie mashup, and now all sorts really, but not jazz! Claims to fame.....used to be a top quality swimmer (junior olympians) and rugby player (county under 19's), semi-pro horse rider, college rodeo champion, and had pictures in mix mag 'cause I used to set myself on fire and backflip off stage at raves LOL!

Guess thats about enough for an intro post, but as I am getting through my second bottle of wine tonight, there may be additional posts now that I have started! Be warned!
